Przesz\u0142a ju\u017c dziewi\u0119\u0107 operacji, a jej codzienno\u015b\u0107 to regularna rehabilitacja. Od pi\u0119ciu lat Berenika jest w trakcie wieloetapowego leczenia ortopedycznego w Niemczech. Dzi\u0119ki serii operacji oraz specjalistycznym ortezom Berenika samodzielnie chodzi. Kilka razy w roku musi te\u017c wyje\u017cd\u017ca\u0107 na intensywne turnusy rehabilitacyjne. Pomimo niedow\u0142ad\u00f3w n\u00f3g, zastawki w m\u00f3zgu i szeregu innych schorze\u0144 wsp\u00f3\u0142istniej\u0105cych, Berenika jest niebywale utalentowan\u0105 dziewczynk\u0105. Gra w teatrze dzieci\u0119cym, pi\u0119knie \u015bpiewa i recytuje, p\u0142ynnie pos\u0142uguje si\u0119 j\u0119zykiem angielskim, uwielbia czyta\u0107, reprezentuje swoj\u0105 szko\u0142\u0119 w licznych konkursach i jest wzorow\u0105 uczennic\u0105. Jej zainteresowania si\u0119gaj\u0105 od baletu po mitologi\u0119 greck\u0105, wyobra\u017ania jest nieposkromiona, a najwi\u0119ksze marzenie to to, by kiedy\u015b zata\u0144czy\u0107 na prawdziwej scenie. Niestety, obecnie roczny koszt leczenia i rehabilitacji Bereniki dochodzi do 100.000 z\u0142. Rodzin\u0119 Bereniki znam przez moj\u0105 siostr\u0119 i jestem gotowa zar\u0119czy\u0107, \u017ce ka\u017cdy grosz przelewany na pomoc, rodzice z mi\u0142o\u015bci\u0105 i zaanga\u017cowaniem wydaj\u0105 na leczenie, wsparcie i rozw\u00f3j c\u00f3rki.<\/p>\n

Berenika Borkowska <\/span>is a twelve-year-old child, who since birth has been struggling with the consequences of spina bifida and hydrocephalus. <\/span>She has already suffered through ten operations and her everyday life is spent in ongoing rehabilitation. She has been in a multi-stage orthopedic therapy in Germany for five years now. Thanks to several operations and special orthoses Berenika can walk on her own. Severa<\/span>l<\/span> times a year she needs to go on an intensive rehabilitation retreat. Despite the condition of her legs, valves in the brain and a number of other comorbidities, Berenika is an incredibly talented girl. She plays in a children\u2019s theatre, sings songs and recites poems, she is fluent in English, she adores reading, represents her school in numerous competitions and is an exemplary student. Her interests range from ballet to Greek mythology, her imagination is unbridled, and her greatest dream is to dance on a real stage someday. <\/span>Unfortunately, now the annual cost of Berenika\u2019s treatments and rehabilitation can go up to 100.000 zloty (almost 25.000 euros). <\/span> I know Berenika’ family through my sister and I <\/span>can guarantee<\/span> that every penny sent <\/span>to<\/span> help is spent by the parents with love and commitment on the treatment, support and development of their daughter.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
